Repairing hydraulic cylinder rods - work stages
Rods are repaired as follows:
- the rod is inspected and diagnosed to detect damages and determine their depth;
- the damaged sections of the hydraulic cylinder rod undergo initial treatment to prepare for elimination of defects;
- metal alloy (iron-nickel, tungsten carbide) is applied on the rod;
- the treated surface is polished.
We use technologies and materials providing maximum adhesion of alloys with the material of the hydraulic cylinder rod. This allows for achieving high quality of the works performed and giving long-term guarantees for the operation of the restored rod.
If necessary, new chrome plating is applied. This is normally done in case of severe damage to the former coating and to observe the repair technology.
